Croce di Vicerola, also known as Croce di Saina, is a scenic stop surrounded by greenery, where the walking route meets the historical memory of the area.
Croce di Vicerola, not far from the locality of Saina, is a splendid panoramic point immersed in nature. From here, the view opens over the valley below, offering a striking outlook onto Lakes Garlate and Olginate and the whole Valle San Martino. On clear days, the panorama becomes wide and bright, ideal for a relaxing pause.
Croce di Vicerola can be reached by an ancient mule track that connects Erve to Somasca, then continues toward Vercurago and Maggianico. The route crosses woodland and scenic stretches, also passing near the remains of the Rocca dell'Innominato, making the excursion engaging and full of interest.
