Elevation: 632 m
Costalottiere, at 632 meters above sea level, lies on the mountainside in a privileged panoramic position. From here the view opens spectacularly over the valley: you can admire Lake Olginate, the Po Valley, and on clear days, even the Apennine chain. It is a perfect spot to stop, observe, and be surprised by the breadth of the landscape.
Costalottiere can be reached by trails running along the mountain slope, offering continuous panoramic views along the way. The walk is pleasant and immersed in greenery, ideal for a peaceful outing among nature and silence, with perfect spots for breaks and photographs.
The name "Costalottiere" recalls its position on the side of the mountain. The place is enriched by the presence of historic frescoes, including the one painted in 1882 by Antonio Sibella, an artist active in the Lecco area. The work, restored in 2006, together with other interventions such as the restoration in 2012, represents an important example of local artistic heritage, combining art, history, and tradition in a natural setting of great beauty.
